Ultra High Precision Racks

ATLANTA Drive Systems Inc., is pleased to announce a new range of Ultra High Precision Racks (UHPR), which combines very low pitch deviation and tooth thickness to ensure high positioning accuracy and minimum backlash.

They were developed especially for applications requiring precise positioning with high repeatability, such as laser cutting and aluminum profile processing machines.

When used in combination with ATLANTA's pinions and precision servo reducers, an extremely precision axis drive can be achieved.

Range Overview:

- 501.79.004 Helical Module 2.0 Hardened & Ground Rack, L = 1,000 mm
- 501.79.005 Helical Module 3.0 Hardened & Ground Rack, L = 1,000 mm
- Force capacities of 3,500 lb (15.5 kN) for module 2.0 and 6,400 lb (28.5 kN) for module 3.0
- Total pitch error GTf of +/- 0.030 mm per 1,000 mm
- Total tooth thickness of - 0.015 mm
- Case hardened & ground teeth
- Racks ground on all sides
